My original blog/journal was called November 9th
It was my first adventure in “ blogging”, in talking out loud to the world via this medium. It was my personal form of therapy in the aftermath of my ex’s affair and the end of our twenty-one year relationship. I wrote for a year about the divorce, life post divorce, and all the pain, change, and wonder of that. It was, if I’m completely honest, one ugly blog at times. Brutally , honestly, ugly. Then, time passed and I noticed that I had, in fact, survived that particular life episode, and was actually thriving. I also discovered, much to my surprise, that I enjoyed thinking out loud.
This is my new adventure at doing just that.
I am woman with a lot of intials after my name. On most days that means I know a whole lot about some things and much of nothing about most else. I wear rose colored glasses, see the world from the left, abhor hypocrisy, ignorance, and the fact the children go hungry in this world. I like laughing more than anything else. That, and learning. I love learning something new every day. And, to the consternation of many, I see things in black and white. I’m not good with gray.
